The following policies are designed to support a clear, respectful, and consistent care experience.
Financial Policy
NovaNerion Psychiatry is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance.
Payment is due at the time of service. A vaild card is kept on file and charged after each section.
Initial Evaluation (90 minutes):$600
Follow-up (30 minutes): $250
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes. Late cancellations and missed appointments are billed at the full session fee.
Telehealth
Care is provided via secure telepsychiatry for patients located in Maryland at the time of their visit.
Sessions should be conducted in a private, quiet environment to support focus and uninterrupted care.
Emergency & Crisis
NovaNerion Psychiatry does not provide emergecy services.

Controlled Substance
When clinically appropriate, contolled medications may be prescribed with careful consideration of safety, medical necessity and regulatory standards.
Medications must be taken exactly as prescribed. Early refills are not provided. Lost or stolen medications may not be replaced. Refills require appropriate follow-up and clinical reassessment.
Prescription monitoring databases may be reviewed as required. Pharmacy verification or additional safeguards may be used when indicated.
Concerns regarding misuse, diversion or unsafe use may result in modification or discontinuation of treatment.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Your privacy is respected and protected. All care is provided in accordance with applicable confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
Information discussed in treatment remains confidential except in specific situations where disclosure is required or permitted by law, including:
Risk of harm to yourself or others
Suspected abuse or neglect
Court orders or other legal requirements
Reasonable efforts are made to protect the privacy and security of all commnuications. As with any electronic system, there are rare but potential risks to confidentiality.
